Hey Everyone!
This week was awesome! I'm having so much fun in Kushiro! We had more time this week so we went all over Kushiro looking for people to teach and we had a great time! We saw a helicopter take off from the top of a hospital, we saw a fox, a lot of birds, the ocean, and we had a karate night! And one of the people we found last week came to the karate night and we had a great lesson afterward! Before the lesson he read the introduction to the Book of Mormon and the testimony of Joseph Smith, and he said he liked it but couldn't really believe it. But we taught him about prophets and the restoration and prayer and he said he'll pray to know if it's true! He's a college student who seems to be really searching for answers so he's very prepared. We also on the same day we found him had another cool experience. We went into a neighborhood planning on knocking doors for a little while, and we walked past the first few houses until we came to a house that had a couple of really nice cars out front. My companion was like, "These are cool cars, let's knock on this house." So we did and a man answered, saw us, and told us to wait a minute and went back in. A couple minutes later a teenager walks out and says in perfect English, "I lived in Canada for four years so I speak English." We were way surprised, but we were able to talk with him and his mom, who also speaks English, and they had actually been looking for a Christian church in Kushiro! The son is going to go to America to play hockey in college if he can so his parents want him to learn about Christianity so we'll see how that goes. It was fun getting the chance to testify in English.

Hey Everyone!
This week was amazing! I'm so grateful to be here in Japan serving the the Lord. There were some great miracles this week. On Tuesday, a mom and her three kids came to Eikaiwa! We met them on the street last week and told them about it, and the mom just immediately said θ‘ŒγγΎγ™(we'll go)! And they came and had a great time! The kids are 3, 4, and 7 years old and they're so much fun! We're going to invite them to learn more about the gospel so pray it goes well!
We also had a lesson with Yukari San, and she still has some issues keeping her from being ready to be baptized. She's allowing small, temporary problems to get in the way of seeing things from an eternal perspective, kind of like the spiritual eclipse Elder Stevenson talked about. But, we realized that part of the problem is that she doesn't understand the plan of salvation very well, even though she's been taking the lessons for a while. She doesn't really understand what the final goal exaltation is, and so doesn't have much desire to achieve it. It's pretty hard to get somewhere if you don't want to get there, and it's hard to have that desire if you don't understand it correctly, so we're going to try to reteach the plan of salvation which should help.
