We found ourselves walking home the other day with a bag full of tobacco and pipes... We visited Mitch and were walking somewhere with him when he mentioned, "I've been thinking about baptism. I can't smoke or drink coffee if I get baptized can I?", "No, Mitch, you cant". He then set up an appointment with us for the next morning so that we could go back, and he gave us all of his smoking stuff. The coffee comes next. He is super motivated right now though for his baptismal date. He's studying daily and is doing everything he can to stop his addictions.

I believe last week I mentioned our plan to begin cleaning the streets of Horsens. We spent a couple hours last Tuesday walking down one street and filled 20 garbage bags. Much more than we expected. We're going to try and change it up somehow next time so that we can talk to more people while serving. A lot of people saw us out of their car windows, but not many were walking on the sidewalks, it's been pretty rainy this last week.

Hi everyone! I have felt so strongly the last few weeks that the Lord is pushing me towards working better with the members here in Horsens. There are so many small signs that keep pointing in that direction. Things are still foggy, I'm not quite sure how to proceed, but I know as I do so in faith the Lord will show the way. I would like to ask for suggestions and advice from all of you. What are things that would help you become more involved in missionary work? What are good ways for the full time missionaries to work with you the missionaries? Ways they haven't before?

We've had the thought of unplanned service a lot on our minds as well. Elder Reber and I both felt prompted one day to start cleaning up the city of Horsens. Our eyes were opened and we noticed the trash that is everywhere. The city is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but we have been prompted to see the trash that we hadn't seen before, and we have set aside time this next week to clean up a specific area, as well as pick up trash we pass while walking. The spirit dwells in a clean tabernacle. We have had a hard time finding people to teach recently, so we need to change what we're doing. We both feel prompted that this is right.

It was great to see you on Skype yesterday, and be able to talk to you all for an hour! Its great to hear how things are going back home. Remember that I'm praying for all of you.

This last week has been exciting in a new area. New people, new places, new experiences. I keep running into small blessings that open my eyes to understand that this really is where the Lord wants me to be at the moment. He is providing so many new opportunities for growth and progression. I have never felt such a need and desire to rise up and accelerate my efforts.

I don't really know where to start... my thoughts and feelings are all over place. I just received news that a friend of mine committed suicide a few weeks ago. My love and prayers go to him and his family. I am so grateful for the knowledge of the plan of salvation. The knowledge of the resurrection. The knowledge that because Christ lives we will all live again. Christ has helped me through so much, I pray that Rolland and his family receive the same knowledge and guidance. In another email today I received this quote, "His judgments are just; His mercy without limit; His power to compensate beyond any earthly comparison." -Boyd K. Packer. So true. Christs mercy is limitless. It is eternal. He loves us more than we can comprehend. There are moments when I feel that love and it just keeps expanding, growing, so much I can not feel it all. I can not understand it all. I love the Lord. I strive daily to give him my heart. Elder Reber and I have been discussing how love is a choice, it takes effort. That's why Christ said, "If ye love me keep my commandments." In doing so we come closer to him, building our love for him.
