HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Happy Halloween!!! Unfortunately, they don't celebrate halloween down here in argentina. Some people are even against it, the other day some lady in the street was handing out  anti-halloween fliers, kinda funny haha. But I hope you all have a great halloween and make the most of it :)

It's been a great week!! We had more interviews in two zones, and they all went really well. This week we started teaching a lady named Cintia who is awesome!! We contacted her in the street last week and asked us to visit her in her home. She is from northern argentina and took the missionary lessons their with her sister. Her sister was even baptised. On Thursday we taught her the restauracion and she loved it. We invited her to be baptized on the 12 of november and she accepted!! She is really looking for a change in her life, she´s got some family problems right now that she wants to solve. Unfortunately she didn't come to church yesterday, we still don't know why. But that's ok, we'll keep working with her.

Our other investigador Pablo is doing great. He made the decision this week to split up with his girlfriend who he is living with so that he can follow the law of chastity and have more peace in his life. They are having a lot of problems recently. Right now he's looking for a new apartment to rent so that he can move out.

Well I hope you all have an awesome week! Thanks for everything, I love you all.

Interviews with President

Well, it´s been another great week! Super super busy! This week we President interviewed two zones, and while he interviewed, my comp and taught a class for those who were waiting for their interviews. And it was awesome! What we did for the class is we did a full practice of a real lesson. My companion was the investigator, a man named Ricardo, and I was the senior comp. The other missionaries (usually 4) were my companions and we had to teach Ricardo focused on his needs. So the Point was to find what Ricardo needed and help him with that need. As we taught I would randomly pause the lesson in order to teach or call attention to certain aspects of the lesson. It was super cool, I think everyone left having learned something to put in practice in their areas. And I learned a ton about different ways to help a person with the same need and the importance of teaching with the spirit.

President out of town

It was a great week, busy as usual which is always good! Early tuesday morning President and his wife took off to a city called Ushuaia to have a seminar with all of the mission presidents in the area. For those who don´t know, Ushuaia is known as "the end of the world". It is the most southern civilian city in the whole world or something like that. Pretty cool place to have a seminar. But yeah, they were gone all week with meant that my comp and I were left in charge of the mission. That was kind of weird jaja. And a little scary. But luckily all went well! We didn´t have any major problems, and President and his wife returned safely. ANd with them came a ton of ideas to put into play in the mission. Last night we were with president until 11 at night talking about things that we are going to change and improve. It´s gonna be awesome.

New Missionaries

First off..... FELIZ SUPER CUMPLEAÑOS A SAM, BOSTON. Y BOONE!!!!!!!! Three in one!! I hope you guys have an awesome birthday!!!

This week was awesome but kinda rough haha, I don´t think I've been so tired in all my mission. On Tuesday my comp and I had to wake up at three in the morning to pick up a new missionary from the airport, and wow, it killed us later in the week, we were pretty worn out.  As a missionary your body gets so used to the set sleep schedule, so any deviance from it just kills you haha. But it´s alright, it was super fun to be on the Argentine roads so early in the morning and to see the airport again. It was the first time I´d gone back there since the day I arrived. It brought back many great memories from my first moments in this wonderful country :)

General Conference

What a week! This week was the last week of the transfer, which is always filled with all sorts of crazy stuff. We spent most of the week preparing the transportation of the missionaries for the transfer. It was the second time trying the new system and it went so much better than the first. Preparation really is he key to success. We still have some tuning and tweaking to do, but we´re improving which is the point. Tomorrow 14 new missionaries will arrive which should be fun. My comp and I have to go the airport at 4 in the morning to pick one of them up who is arriving alone. But it should be good, I´m excited for the little adventure :)
