Gert came to church yesterday! We didn't even know he was coming, all of a sudden he just showed up on his own! He's doing great, I don't think I've ever had an investigator so eager to have us over. He calls us multiple times a week asking when the next time is that we can come visit him.

Mei, a Chinese woman we teach, asked us to come check her English translation of something. Turned out she was wanting us to do her English homework for her. To her disappointment we made her do the assignment, with some help catching mistakes or reform sentences. We had a short lesson with her afterwords, but she has a hard time understanding the nature of God. Or the fact that she can change.

Photo from Randers

This picture was sent to me this morning by the mother of a returned missionary of Denmark who was visiting the area and ran into Ken and his companion at her sons favorite eating spot. She said she always sends pictures to the moms of missionaries she runs into.

Made my Day!!!!

Warm today! I'm heating up in just my white shirt. The weather the last couple of days has been so beautiful! So much sun! From nothing all winter to constant light.

Lets see... So Kent dropped us this week. He explained that he doesn't want to leave the Folke Kirke (The Danish Peoples Church). I feel like he is thinking a lot more about the social aspect rather than the gospel truths. He made his decision though and as of right now isn't really open to continue. I feel though that in the future he'll open back up with questions, and now he knows how to find us and the church.

Jesper is still doing great. The two things he's struggling with is coming to church and he doesn't feel ready to pray. Although he believes the Book of Mormon, and loves the Plan of Salvation. We're hoping to get Erik to another lesson again, help Jesper find a desire to come to church.

Exiting week! Thursday at our zone training we were promised and committed to sharing the #BecauseHeLives video with specific people as soon as possible. Using whatever recourses we could to find those people, even Facebook. I was able to create a Facebook account, one of the first people to come up under the suggestions of people I might know was one of those people I needed to share the video with. As of right now this initiative is all we are allowed to use Facebook for, but in the next few weeks our mission President has a training on it, so its possible it will be more used in the future.

I know this is initiative is important. A couple of days ago I was trying to figure out the address of a man who I was prompted to share the video with, but I had only met him once almost two years ago in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. All I could remember was his first name. I searched through all of my bags and old planners, anywhere searching for where I might have written his address. When all of a sudden the last name came to mind. I had no idea what his last name was, but through inspiration, and the power of the Holy Ghost I was given the full name. I just found his address because I was able to search for him in my email. Whereas I know too many people who go by his first name to have been able to find him with just that. Now I need to just figure out which of his two addresses to send a letter to. Never mind... I found an email address.

Sunday was great! Easter and General Conference. Because the zone leaders wouldn't buy us tickets to Aarhus for Conference, Elder Parry and I sat in the empty church building here in Randers and used the computer. It was actually really relaxing, and we could bring food to the church building for the meals between sessions. We watched the Saturday morning session on Saturday evening, then on Sunday we watched the Priesthood session, the Saturday afternoon session, and the Sunday morning session. We'll have to find some time in the next week to see the Sunday afternoon session. One talk that stood out to me was by Bishop Gerald Causse from France. Talking about marveling at the wonders of the gospel. And it is a wonderous gospel! The talk right before him was by Elder Jose A. Teixeira who is our area president here. He came and spoke to our mission back in August or September.

I hope everyone was able to check out helives.mormon.org website this last week. There is a great new video the church has made focusing on the living Christ. the website also has a great page describing what Christ did each day of the week leading up to his resurrection. I invite everyone to share the video with friends and family. The church is going to be using this initiative #BecauseHeLives for the next year leading up until Christmas, and they'll be updating the website regularly.
