Email March 24, 2014 – Elder Kenneth Wm. Burton
Bunch of Burtons
Our next door naighbor (spelling?) Sweden has just gotten iPhones.
All the missionaries here are buzzing that we'll be next. President has been
trying to get iPads for the mission for a while now and has been saying they'll
be here this year. Kind of crazy. It really would be such a great tool for the
areas though. It would make organizing information so much easier. In Odense
we've already been trying to incorperate computers into the work. We've made
spreadsheets that help organize the less active members in the ward and which
missionaries are working with who. Right now to use it though we have to check
it when we are at the church building, and being able to have it on
iPads/phones whould be super nice.
Thanks for all the emails this week! I opened up the email and the
whole first page was unread emails! I wish I had time to reply to everyone
seperatly.
Talk of the week- Walking in circles by Dieter F. Uchdorf
When humans dont have a referance point to follow they will
literally start walking in cirles when lost, many times crossing back over
there same path. If we keep spiritual landmarks in our lives such as the
scriptures we can see where we need to go and we can continually travel in a
straight line.
Im sorry this is kind of short. I had a bunch of things I was going
to write about but for some reason I cant remember them now. Im practicly out
of time anyway so maybe its a good thing.
I love you all. Until next week!
