Finishing up zone conferences.

Another awesome week in the work!! This week we finished up the zone conferences and they went super well! It's cool to be able to the same conference 6 times because every time it just gets better. I have learned so much in the last month about how to teach in big groups. And it's amazing how well you can see the levels of unity and consecration in a zone as you work with them. After zone conferences you just know what needs to happen in the mission. You  know the strong points as well as the weak. And more than anything you just feel a love for the missionaries emanating from our heavenly father. You can feel the potential that everyone has and see how God puts his hands in to mold them. It's been a neat experience to be able to see the mission from that angle.

Email September 19, 2016 – Elder Isaac Kenneth Burton

Another week in the life :)

This week has been awesome!! We had zone conferences in two zones and they bothe turned out really well! Also we were able to do divisions with the zone leaders from both of tose zones which was great. I learned a ton from them. I was with one elder named Elder Tenhoeve, and wow, it was such an awesome day. We found two new investigators, one of which was just a contact, but from that contact we were able to invite her to be baptised and she acepted! She also said that her 2 daughters would be baptized too! She is named Marcela, and wow, she is very prepared. Yesterday we passsed by her house again and met her husband who is just as awesome. We have a apointment with them on wednesday, I´m way excited to se how it goes.

Email September 12. 2016 – Elder Isaac Kenneth Burton

Back to Korn

Another awesome week! I know I start all of my emails like that but it's true, every week is just awesome. Maybe someday I'll get more creative with how I start my emails. We'll see haha :)

On Tuesday we started zone conferences in Monte Grande. And I think it was pretty obvious that it was the first zone conference of President and us the assistants. It was kinda rough, we had some problems with food not showing up, and also with some technical stuff. But it was a great learning experience for us and I think the zone still got a lot out of it. On thursday we did it again in the zone of Longchamps and it went ten times better! It was very spiritual and we were all very edified. It felt good to see how well it turned out. We've changed a few more things for the conferences next week, they should go really well, I'm excited.

Email September 5, 2016 – Elder Isaac Kenneth Burton

Week of preparation

It's been another good week down here in Buenos Aires! This week was way calmer than the first few wich was nice, we were able to take a little breather before we jump into the craziness again for the next few weeks. On wednesday we had a meeting with all of the district leaders in the mission. A lot of them are new so we talked a little bit about their responsibilities and then focused on some things that we are trying to improve in the mission. My comp and I were both able to teach and it went really well. The rest of the week was spent preparing for zone conferences which start tomorrow. We'll be doing two a week for the next three weeks which should be fun. Lot's of traveling, I'll be getting to know a lot more of the mission which I'm really excited for.
