Email May 4^th – Elder Jackson Kunzler Burton

Hey Everyone!

                  This week was so great! We had so many miracles! On Monday night, we went to visit an investigator, and on the way we just happened to run into an investigator from another area, so we said hi and talked for a couple minutes before going to our appointment. Then when we were teaching the investigator, we were in a food court, and that same member happened to walk in! She came and told her conversion story and testified of the Book of Mormon and it really touched the investigator. He was also really surprised when he found out we and the member had never met before that day. It's really cool how you can become friends with someone so quickly. On Tuesday I went on exchanges in Iwamizawa with Elder West, we both got to Japan at the same time so that was fun. On Friday we had two lessons, the first was with a lady who had a member friend and went to the Sapporo temple open house with her, and her friend came to the lesson and so it was great. Her friend is also somewhat less active so hopefully being a part of helping a friend come unto Christ will help her as well. Then that evening we had a lesson with a college student that went really well. We also had a member at that lesson, a recent convert who is an awesome missionary and way nice, she's the one who let me borrow a bike. At that lesson, after we gave him a Book of Mormon, the investigator told us about a dream he had the night before where his grandma who had passed away gave him a book, and he was super surprised when we gave him a book because it was about the same size and color. So he's really excited to read and pray about it, such a big miracle. We also found on Saturday a man who wants to meet, he said he's met missionaries a few times before and it's because of them that he believes God! And he wants to meet and learn more, so we have an appointment for next week. God is blessing the work so much! I know this is His work and He is hastening it in Japan! I've really gained a testimony of member missionary work this week! There's so much power when members participate and work to bring God's children to Him. I'm so grateful to be in Japan at this amazing time! I love you all! Have a great week!
